EcoCritters is a game in which you can raise an EcoCritter, a mysterious creature that thrives when the planet is healthy. Your EcoCritter grows when you recycle, compost, or reuse items in the real world. By taking care of the planet, you can raise your EcoCritter from a seedling into its beautiful final form!
This app is actively in development -- more ways to interact with your EcoCritter are in the works right now! This app was a collaboration with Regina Chapuis, with the help of technical coach Shanthi Kongara. The app was created for Dandilyonn’s 2019 SEEDs program in order to promote knowledge about climate change and a movement towards more eco-friendly living. EcoCritters Official Site |

My independent design and coding project to learn Android App Inventor 2. Allergy Blast is a free Android mobile app for those caring for children or others with food allergies. Users/parents can easily create, save and edit "food allergy profiles" for anyone under their care (eg. children, seniors) detailing allergies, medications, emergency contacts -- then quickly send profiles to caregivers (teachers, babysitters, grandparents) by text or email as a handy stored reference for this life-saving information. I built and launched this free mobile app to protect kids & seniors with food allergies because 15 million Americans have food allergies (1 in every 13 children) and food allergy reactions send someone to an emergency room every 3 minutes in the U.S. (FoodAllergy.org). • Allergy Blast is now used internationally and featured as an official resource by pediatric and allergy practices, including 6 locations of Allergy and Asthma Medical Group of the Bay Area. • Coordinated with the San Ramon Valley Fire Dept. to demo Allergy Blast at their 2016 Emergency Preparedness Fair, a major community education event with 7000+ attendees from the San Francisco Bay Area learning safety essentials from paramedics, firefighters, and police. • Shared app with members of U.S. Congress as new free problem-solver in 2017 #HouseOfCode event (Capitol Hill, Washington DC).
